Our Story

Auld Mill Alpacas Rug Yarn in natural colours
Auld Mill Alpacas door sign

Our wee Alpaca Farm Shop is filled with lovely alpaca yarns made from our own alpacas, with gorgeous woven, crocheted and knitted goodies made from their yarns, and plenty more besides !

Each of our 80+ alpacas has a name and every ball of yarn, scarf, throw or hat is labelled with the name of the alpaca that grew it !

As well as our own alpaca goodies, we also have cosy alpaca socks and luxurious bedding and a host of alpaca- (and llama- !) themed gifts.

Our shop is in a Shepherds' Hut nestled into the vegetable garden between the plum trees, and there's a view of the alpacas' fields from the shop.

Come along on Saturdays and Tuesdays from 10am-4pm, or at other times by arrangement, and see what we can tempt you with !

Call 07773 968979 or email hello@alpacafarmshop.co.uk to arrange a visit outwith normal Saturday opening times.

We love having people coming to the Alpaca Farm Shop but please do check out the opening hours. If you can't make it during those times, get in touch to fix up a visit.

If you use SatNav to find us using our postcode, IV30 8TU, you may end up at our lovely neighbours at Redhill Farm. Rather than disturbing them, keep going along the public road for a further 100m West, (away from Elgin) until you find our farm road end with the "Mossend Farm" sign. Trundle down the single track road and we're at the end of it !
